Playtime

All the toys are mine...
Mom was wondering if other Airedales are leaf magnets or am I just lucky?

I suppose rolling around the ground helps...

Christmas Ham

Yay Christmas! Fun, family and presents! Mmmm...presents...
I had a great day. I got to hang out with Molly which was lots of fun. Also Great Uncle Jack was there. He is very clever and opens his own presents. Unfortunately I had to go sit outside at times because I got too excited and wanted to jump all over everyone. Pity Me!
Best part of all - presents! I got a big treat which disappeared faster than you can say "Woo! Thank you!" I also got a Kong Wubba.

And a cool new collar.

The Fluffies also got presents.

Rove got mad and stormed off as Wil wanted them all for himself.

So Wil rolled all over the toys in victory

He loves posing for the camera.

I had a very big day and was worn out by nightime.

Also I seem to have lost Mom to Fable II and I fear that I may never go for a walk again...

I Hope everyone had a wonderful day!!!

Gotcha Day!

Well it has been a whole year since I came to live here. To celebrate I thought we'd flashback to that exciting day...*cue dream sequence music*

Mom and Dad travelled two hours to where me and a whole lot of puppies were waiting to go to new homes. Mom was overwhelmed by all the puppies and couldn't decide which of the little bundles to take home. She was crouched down patting the puppies when I thought it'd be fun to crawl under her. Mom picked me up because she was afraid she'd lose her balance and squash me. I told the other puppies that I had picked them as my new Mom and Dad.

We had only gotten about two houses away when I started howling and voicing my displeasure at being put in a carrier. I cried the whole two hours home. Eventually Mom came into the back seat and sat near me. You have to test them to make sure they are keen.
And the most exciting thing about the new place? Fluffies!
Though I am pretty sure this is the closest we have ever been to each other. They weren't very happy about me being there. They still aren't...
So tiny!

Fast forward a couple of weeks...My first bath here. The excitement and the zoomies afterwards wore me out.

So comfy

Going...

Going...

Gone!

Crazy Cats

I will let you in on a little secret... They may look innocent, but they are quite mad...

We have had some horrible weather lately. It is supposed to be sunny and hot, but instead it is cold and rainy. There have been some really strong winds as well...and I've discovered that the wind makes the Fluffies go nutty.

All night they were tearing around the house. They were scratching on the windows, roaring and trying to climb the walls. Crazy!

Though to be honest, I would have liked to have joined in the fun, but I was stuck in my crate...

One

Wow, long time no blogging. Mom has been slacking off again...claiming to have lots of assignments and stuff to do. Blah! Blah!
In more exciting news, I am ONE year old today. ONE! And you know what that means... Presents! Fun!

I have this sneaking suspicion that they actually forgot as there hasn't been nearly enough celebration and excitement for someone turning ONE.
Since last posting I had to go to the vet as I had a bit of cedar stuck in my gums from chewing on my house. I am sorry to say that this is not the first time this has happened as sometimes when I get into the heavy duty chewing stuff gets stuck. Mom and Dad had tried to do lots of stuff to keep me entertained but I still wanted to chew.

After the last visit the vet suggested I see a behaviour specialist and it turns out that I may have separation anxiety problems. I think I just love chewing and showing of my powerful jaws, but everyone doesn't agree.

So Mom and Dad have to be stricter with me and make me work more for stuff. I mean, I have to sit before they let me outside, then I have to sit again before I can come back inside. Geez! One of the worst parts is that I am not allowed to sleep in my chair anymore! Really!!!
This is me on the first day...as you can see I am not happy.
On the bright side they have been giving me more yummy stuff to occupy myself with during the day. Have you ever seen a vegetarian try and stuff a chicken wing into a Kong? Hilarity! That's what Mom gets for taking away my chair!!!

Aire-cut

Mom decided that since it has been so hot lately that I needed a hair cut. I'm feelin' a bit naked and Dad keeps saying that I look a lot smaller than I used to. Hello, ladies!

Yes, yes, we get it...enough with the photos already...

HAHA!!

Birds and Cats

Geez, haven't updated the blog in a couple of weeks. Mom has been really slack and claims that she hasn't had time. Blah Blah Blah...note how unimpressed I look. Last week I noticed another dog living in the house...

I growled and barked at him to make sure he knew he wasn't welcome. Mom claims that he has been here the whole time, but I don't know...I think he has come to steal my girlfriend...

There has been some different birds in the yard this week. Mom thinks they are interesting. I don't see what the big deal is.

Today is Rove's birthday. He is 8. Still looks at me grumpily...

For his birthday he got a new toy. It is full of catnip goodness. He mostly just made faces at it.

Wil rubbed his head on it a few times, but then that was it.

Strangely the Fluffies do not really seem that interested in toys, despite their catnip goodness...Obviously they are aliens in fluffy costumes...it would explain how toys get lost in the space-time continuum.
Of course...it is all making sense now...
