Facelift

Yuna had to have eye surgery last week. Her eyelids were rolling inwards causing her eyelashes to rub on her eyes. It was happening more often and causing problems so the vet thought it should get done.

Apparently Yuna was really good and sat still while the vet removed her stitches. Now her eyes are a bit bigger and she can see better.

Yuna has been a lot happier since having the op done. She has been tearing around the backyard more. She has been shoving her toys in my face and bashing into me until I chase her. Unfortunately she isn't as fast as me and sometimes stacks it, rolling and tumbling in the grass. It doesn't phase her though and she just jumps back up while I point and laugh.

Oops, gotta go. Someone wants to have another race around the pond.

Photo Shoot

Mom is having a hard time deciding what to put on Christmas cards this year so decided to try doing some portraits to see if any of them were suitable. Luckily, she couldn't find any antlers.

Monsters in the Closet

You ok?

I am very scared...

Monsters in the closet.

Don't be silly. You're too old for that.

Really, I was just standing by the linen closet minding my own business and something hissed and scratched me.

Was that what that girly scream was?

Well, the monster caught me by surprise.

it's ok, I have sent mom to get a flashlight and investigate.

Oh...

Didn't get him a present did you?

I think I will just stay over here and cuddle my ball...

Back at the Beach

Look! We are back at the beach...and you may notice I do not have a leash on. Uh huh!
It was only for a short time but i had a good run around with Yuna and another dog we met.

She Who Hates Water was happy about it being low tide.

Yuna helped me bring a big stick back to Dad.

Just before we left Yuna suddenly ran off into the water after some ibis. Yuna! In the water! She got about to her chest before turning around and coming back. Mom was laughing too much to take photos.

*the momma apologises for the poor quality of photos today. It was dark and the camera was uncooperative.

A big Happy Birthday to everyone's favourite grumpy old man, Rove, who turned 10 this week.
